Product Description
ADD, Attention Deficit Disorder and ADHD, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, are prevalent in society today, afflicting about 4.4% of the adult population, which is over 13 million Americans. Four out of every five adults do not even know they are ADD, and while it is often difficult to differentiate adults with true ADD from adults who are merely forgetful and disorganized, Organizing Solutions for People with ADD outlines new organizing strategies that will be of value to anyone who wants to improve their organizational, or lack of, skills in their life. The chapters consist of practical organizing solutions for ADD at Work; prioritizing, time management, and organizing documents, ADD at Home; paying bills on time, de-cluttering your house, scheduling and keeping appointments, ADD with Kids; driving them to various activities, grocery shopping and meals, laundry, babysitters, organizing drawers and closets, and ADD and You; organizing time for your social life, gym, and various other hobbies and activities. Color photographs that capture the short attention span of the reader are featured throughout, as well as sidebars and testimonials from adults with ADD, providing numerous organizational tips, such as, the importance of dividing time into minutes or moments, task completion, how to avoid procrastination, asking for help, and how not to be a packrat.

Fantastic August 29, 2010 kmk (Cincinnati, Ohio) This is a great book for getting organized. It gives you great tips and pictures to help you on your way to organization as well as ideas to stay organized. It has helped me and my son with ADD get our lives in order.
HIghly Recommend July 26, 2010 Crystal Street (Aurora, Illinois United States) This book comes highly recommended by me. It is easy to read with great guidance tips to get you on the right track. It seems like common sense but, I needed to see it in print. It is almost as if it were written for me. :)
dont waste money on a professional May 15, 2010 Jessica Beranek This is very much geared to people with ADD. While some are expensive, like throwing out all your socks and buying ones that all look the same or hiring a lawn service instead of doing it yourself it does have a lot of great tips and suggestions, and they are all geared to people with ADD. I have recomended this to everyone I know who has ADD.
great book April 5, 2010 adhd mom of 4 (reading, mA United States) I am a mother of four kids and one with ADHD.....this book was absolutely perfect for me...short of hiring a personal organizer and having someone live with me and prompt me all day, I figured it was pretty much hopeless! This book, however, really helped me. It was easy to follow with good insights about the ADD/ADHD mind! I appreciated the positive approach with a touch of humor. I must confess, after the first week with the book I started a million organizing projects and promptly lost it for a year....naturally...I found it recently and have referred to it a number of times since then. Thanks for a great book!
So Helpful! February 6, 2010 L. Gordon I read a lot of books on organization, but this one was the easiest to apply! Great ideas, easy and short presentation for those of us who don't have the attention to read a long book. It's the best!
